Long-Term Homeowner Exemption
About 50% tax reduction
Owner 65 years of age or older
Paid Property Tax in Wyoming for at least 25 years
Owner Occupied: Live in the residence at least 8 months per year
Applications taken 10/1/2025 - 5/26/2026
Sign up or renew in the County Assessor’s Office

Notes: A homeowner may apply for either the Long-Term Homeowners or the Homeowners exemption. The Veteran’s exemption can be used in conjunction with either of the above exemptions. More exemptions, refunds, etc. may also be available from other agencies.
