Harland C. Troudt, 84, of Cheyenne died Jan. 10 at Davis Hospice Center.

He was born March 28, 1923, in Timnath, Colo. Mr. Troudt had been a resident of Cheyenne since 1950 with prior residence in Fort Collins, Colo.

He was employed as the motor pool supervisor on F.E. Warren Air Base.

Mr. Troudt served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a Silver Star recipient.

He was a member of Zion Congregational Church and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Troudt was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by one daughter, Carole Allen of Torrington; three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Irene Paul of Windsor, Colo., and Beverly Blehm of Loveland, Colo.

Mr. Troudt was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Troudt, whom he married Aug. 21, 1944, in Fort Collins and his parents, Conrad and Kathryn Troudt.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with Pastor David Anderson and the Rev. Elmer Wilhelm officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike, Jon, Scott and David Allen, Dennis Troudt, Glenn Troudt, Jr., Dale Crock and George Lee.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill Brinegar and Mannie Betz.

Military rites will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard.

Friends may contribute to Davis Hospice Center.
