Michael E. Gibson, 65, of Cheyenne died Oct. 19 at Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 23, 1950, in Washington, D.C., to John and Margaret Nelson. He married Pamela Pullins on Dec. 2, 1995, in Cheyenne. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He retired as a shipping and receiving clerk from Lowe's Distribution Center.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Gibson of Cheyenne; mother, Margaret Nelson of Newport, N.C.; and siblings, Elizabeth Sorrels of Newport, Linda Jost of Catlett, Va., and John Nelson Jr. of Fort Washington, Md.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Nelson.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with a reception to follow.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
