Forrest Dean "Pat” Patterson, 52, died Feb. 13 at his residence in Cheyenne.
He was born Jan. 23, 1951, in Cheyenne.
He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1974.
Mr. Patterson lived in Casper working for the City of Casper and as an EMT for Natrona County. He was also a truck driver for several trucking services including United States Mail and Frozen Food Express.
On Nov. 25, 2002, Forrest was united in marriage to Esther Lou Kile of Troutdale, Ore., by Chaplain Ron Shell at the VA Hospital in Cheyenne.
Forrest is survived by his wife, Esther Kile; three brothers, Gerald Patterson and Edward Patterson, both of Cheyenne, and Buck Patterson of Clearwater, Fla.; two sisters, Norma Lee Pierce and Barbara A. DeWitt, both of Casper; Lois Mayland, mother of stepchildren, James Wayne Gifford of Portsmouth, Va., Robert Luther Gifford of Douglas, Donald Aurther Mayland of Denver, Cheryle Lynn Wilkerson of Northglenn, Colo., Georgiana Ernestine Mayland of Greeley and Danyel Christina Brown of Cheyenne; two sons, Charles Dean Patterson of Cheyenne, and Kennith Wayne Patterson of Casper; one daughter, Heidi Renee Patterson of Casper; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Forrest was preceded in death by his father, Richard P. Patterson; his mother, Roberta L. Hayslip; and two sisters, Sherry Hissum and Audrey Long.
Memorial services were held on Feb. 16 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Cheyenne with the Rev. Delbert W. Hansen officiating.
Pallbearer was Ronald Brown.
He was cremated at Cheyenne Memorial Services Crematory following services.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver with full honors.
