⭐ Tonya Moore Advances to VFW National Teacher of the Year Competition

VFW Post 11453 is proud to announce that our nominee, Tonya Moore, has been selected as the Department of Wyoming Elementary School Teacher of the Year. This prestigious honor recognizes her exceptional dedication to education, her commitment to students, and her outstanding efforts to promote civic responsibility and patriotism in the classroom.

After earning top honors at the district and state levels, Moore will now represent Wyoming as she advances to the VFW National Teacher of the Year competition, where educators from across the country are evaluated for their leadership, innovation, and service to their communities.

A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where he served for years in Vietnam.  He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years.  He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country".  The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.


There is a new cartoon everyday.
