Trish Peoples
Quartermaster - Air Force
Trish spent a career in the United States Air Force. Her
duty assignments included Patrick Air Force Base, Florida; Loring Air Force
Base, Maine; European Command, Stuttgart, Germany; Peterson Air Force Base,
Colorado; Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; and F.E. Warren Air Force
Base, Wyoming. She spent four years as the Adjutant/Quartermaster for the
Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Wyoming. Her volunteer work includes
serving as Board President of the Unaccompanied Students Initiative and
President-Elect of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs-Wyoming. Trish and
her husband, Rod, have two children: Khamis and Derek.
The Post Quartermaster is the chief
financial officer of the Post. The Quartermaster is the custodian of all Post
property and the officer responsible for safeguarding Post funds and property.
The Quartermaster is accountable to the Post, Department and the National
Organization for all of the monies, securities, vouchers and property of the
Post. The Quartermaster is the only one authorized under the By-Laws, to
receive, handle, disburse and account for funds of the Post.
