Car Wash

Thanks to all who helped (Post members and JROTC students) and specially those who took part in our Car Wash fundraiser. Despite some inclement weather we managed to raise over $700 in total during the four hour event. Moreover it was certainly enjoyable to visit with each other.

Craft Fair

We will be distributing Poppies and collecting donations at the Craft Fair on Saturday, June 5, 2021. We are looking for more help, please click here for more information and to sign up. Thanks.

Minutes

VFW Post 11453 May 11, 2021: Minutes (pending approval)

Meeting started at 7:17 PM

Commander Bush, Senior Vice Commander Dyke, Junior Vice Commander Maas, 1 Year Trustee Daniels, 3 Year Trustee Jones, and Comrade Jim Rish Senior present. All other officers excused.

Rex Daniels moved to approve April minutes as written. Al Dyke second. Motioned carried.

Rex Daniels moved to approve Quartermaster report as written. Jim Rish second. Motioned carried.

Car wash scheduled for May 23, 1-5 pm at Breeze Thru on Pershing Blvd. Need lots of help.

May 29 help place flags on graves 9AM, Bethel Cemetery.

June 5 Craft Show 9AM-3PM Archer complex.

Wayne Jones moved to order 2,000 poppies.  Jim Rish second. Motioned carried.

National Prayer 8:01PM

Post Officer Installation postponed until June 8, 2021 at regular Post meeting.

Donation to National Home in honor of Vincent "Ben” Hernandez: tabled.
